In 2010, Disorient's LNT plan WON Burning Man!  We received a lot of positive feedback directly from several members of DPW's playa restoration crew, including the playa restoration lead, on how disorient was green!

In 2007, resulting from a variety of factors, disorient was marked red on the moop map.  This was an indication that we needed to redevelop our exit strategy, with the aspiration of moving from red to green on the map for 2008 and subsequent years.  And we did!  Disorient marked green in 2008 and 2009, with the support of a fabulous post disengage, playa restoration crew.
2014 demonstrated that more prevention activities are needed to ensure that moop "never hits the ground". Ocean will be present during Alpha setup to work with project leads on prevention initiatives.


Ocean, who joined forces with DPW in 2007 for the Playa Restoration project, will contribute her experience in mooping strategies to disorient in 2010, and help coordinate our camp's cleanup planning.
