Integration of Disorient DAO registration with Disorient events registration
This is a description of the process of integrating Disorient DAO registration with the registration of a Disorient event. The goal is to streamline Disorient DAO onboarding. Include DAO information in event registration
DAO membership is the mechanism to officially keep track of Disorient membership. All event attendees are encouraged to become DAO members. A DAO op-out checkbox is included on registration forms for attendees who do not wish to be part of this system.
Text to be included in Disorient event registration questionnaire:
The Disorient DAO is the official record of Disorient membership. It is used to allocate Disorient tokens to participants depending on their level of involvement. In other words, every person registering to attend this Disorient event becomes a Disorient member and is automatically enrolled in the DAO (DAO credentials sent separately). This applies to you only if this is your first Disorient event and/or if you are not already a member of the Disorient DAO. [_] Check this box if you DO NOT wish to be part of the Disorient DAO and DO NOT wish to receive Disorient tokens.
Update DAO Google sheet
During the event registration period, a DAO Cell member updates DAO Google sheet weekly with latest data from campers/producers/cell leads/etc. available on event Google sheet. DAO Google sheet mechanisms are setup and maintained by Brad Osgood. A designated member of the DAO Cell is in charge of updating the data on the DAO Google sheet.
Create a DAO login for each camper
Based on Disorient event registration data, DAO admin creates a unit.network login for each camper using their Disorient event registration email address. We should not rely on campers for this step as DAO registration process can be confusing. Event attendees should be advised to use their Disorient DAO email address for future Disorient events.
Respective unit.network login credentials are securely communicated to each camper by DAO admin. (What's the best way do that?)
Post-event assessment
After the event, event producers perform a contribution assessment for each Cell Leads. The question to answer for each Cell Lead is: was Lead role performance satisfactory enough to deserve token allocation? The result is presented on a separate column on the event Google sheet.
Verify data
A designated member of the DAO Cell verifies that DAO Google sheet data matches event Google sheet data for each event participant.
Distribute Disorient token
Based on verified DAO Google sheet data, DAO admin transfers tokens to DAO accounts of eligible participants.
