Welcome to http://glamtech.info
GlamTech (Glamour and Technology, Glamorous Technologists, ...) is the style of Disorient. A brave attempt to juxtapose two apparent opposites. GlamTech focuses on process and presentation.
Process is an integral part of the work, the end result is a goal that guides us by providing a vector of action which is often redefined during the art adventure. As such, GlamTech works are presentable at all stages of evolution. From birth to decrepitude we embrace the concept of patina as our jousting with space and time.
Inspired by nature, software development and cut-and-paste aesthetics, we use iteration and versioning to collaboratively grow the modules of Disorient.
GlamTech was also a yearly Disorient event in NYC typically held in the first half of the Gregorian year. This technology gala showcased our work as a light art collective.
