Time does not only alter copper and oil paint; it leaves its trace on electronics and LEDs too. To some it may look like a mistake or a broken system but at Disorient, we call that "LED patina (TM-jk)." We embrace and cherish those signs of time as a contemporary manifestation of the wabi-sabi tradition.
LED patina is a result of Disorient's collaboration with time. It is fleeting and precious. The lesson is to Let Go.
