Hello lovelies.
GENERAL INFO

All space on the NYC Containers is sold in cubic feet. (Cubic feet = LENGTH X WIDTH X HEIGHT)
It's true. Due to the hard work and info gathering of Lady Lucky and some Disorient folks, I've been convinced we can do a second container.
We will NOT sell ANY space on the day of load in.
it is EXTREMELY important you read this entire email. You will be responsible for all the information included. I know it's long. Read it anyway.
There are no refunds on purchased space, so measure well.

YOU are entirely responsible for loading your shit ON AND OFF the container, so don’t over pack your boxes and make sure you can lift them.
1. We are going to open up a second container provided we sell at least 2000 cu/ft. Space will be first come/first served. We will stop selling at 2600 cu/ft and take any additional cu/ft on a case by case basis. So first emails in get first cubic feet.
YOU ARE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENTS OF THE SPACE YOU PURCHASE. KNOW WHAT IS IN YOUR BOXES. ANY COSTS FOR STOPPING THE CONTAINER AND TAKING ITEMS ON/OFF DUE TO PROHIBITED ITEMS ARE TAKEN ON BY THE PURCHASER, NOT DISORIENT.

2. If you are interested in space, you must email me here with "Container 2" and "your name" in the subject line. Both must be included. You can not purchase via the website. Only through email.
Cost is $7.50/Cubic Foot

We will be selling space via a ticketing website (like you would buy a ticket for an event); 1 ticket = 1 CUBIC FOOT. MAKE SURE THE AMOUNT OF TICKETS YOU PURCHASE = THE AMOUNT OF CUBIC FEET YOU NEED.
3. In that email you must tell me how many cubic feet you wish to purchase. Round up to whole numbers. Also include: Your full name, your playa name, your telephone number, date of arrival on the playa
DATES AND LOCATION

Container space will go on sale JULY 8, 2015. There will be a direct link on this page to purchase from.
4. Measure well, there are no refunds.
Containers will be loaded on AUGUST 2, 2015

The Containers will be loaded in a location TBD. We will update the location on this page, as well as email all people who purchased space on the container and to the NY Burning Man List with the location of the container load in.
5. Cubic feet will be sold at $5.50 per. This is not negotiable.
PACKING YOUR THINGS FOR THE CONTAINER

REMEMBER: ALL BINS SHOULD BE PACKED FULLY. HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF POUNDS OF THINGS WILL BE STACKED ON TOP OF YOUR BINS, THE CONTAINERS WILL BE MOVED FROM TRAIN TO TRAIN, TRAIN TO TRUCK, ETC. PACKING YOUR THINGS TIGHT WILL HELP PROTECT YOUR THINGS.
6. YOU MUST send me your cu/ft request BY 11:59 PM SATURDAY JULY 29, 2006.
DISOIRENT IS NOT RESPONSINBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR THINGS

All items must be boxed well, this includes bikes and strangely shaped items. NO metal, wood, etc. should be sticking out of anything. Things will be packed on top of or next to others and we are unable to do so unless items are boxed properly, think TETRIS.
7. You will receive an invoice from me prior to 11:59 PDT SUNDAY JULY 30, 2006
IF YOU HAVE A VERY LARGE OR STRANGELY SHAPED ITEM YOU MUST LET US KNOW ASAP. THIS MEANS EMAIL US AT nyccontainer [at]disorient[dot]info.

ANY ITEM NOT PACKED PROPERLY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE CONTAINER AND NO REFUND WILL BE PROVIDED.
8. YOU MUST pay the invoice in full via paypal by 8:00 PM Eastern time MONDAY JULY 31
PVC, conduit, wood, etc. MUST be taped or ratchet strapped together, securely so they will not fall out of the bundle, roll away, etc.
The containers get very very hot, at times in excess of 120°F. At that level of heat, those items which cannot stand high heat will often explode and ruin everything around them (like batteries) or they can start a fire (like fire flow toys with fuel on them). So, don’t put that shit in the container.
DISOREINT reserves the right to open any and all items loaded on the containers. REMEMBER your stuff is not the only thing on the container, so don’t be irresponsible. If you blow up the container, cause a fire, cause the container to be pulled and search due to suspicion of illegal substances NO ONES stuff will make it to playa. Don’t be that guy.
