The term patina | The term patina is sometimes used in conjunction with bronze pieces, wooden furniture, oil paintings, etc. to describe the effect of time, chemicals and handling on the surface--and sometimes the geometry--of an object. The term patina is sometimes used in conjunction with bronze pieces, wooden furniture, oil paintings, etc. to describe the effect of time, chemicals and handling on the surface--and sometimes the geometry--of an object.
