Disorient Country Club Committee
Role and responsibilities
1. Discuss Disorient Country Club issues and make decisions as needed.
2. Produce Disorient Country Club upstate New York. The DCCC is production-oriented, unlike the Disorient Council which acts more as a board.
3. Stewardship of the Country Club Container (AKA the Moving Dock) and the land that it rests on.
4. Generate an annual report and present it to the Disorient Council to get chartered for the following year.
Decision mechanism:
Decisions are made through majority vote of DCCC members unless otherwise specified by DCCC.
Membership
1. Number of members - There is a total of seven active members.
2. Term - members remain on the Council as long as they participate actively in the production of Disorient Country Club. Members must cede their place to more involved participants as soon as they stop being active producers. In case of resignation, DCCC can follow section 3 and 4 before the month of December.
3. Nomination of a new member – If necessary, during the month of December, Council members nominate someone within Disorient.
4. Election of a new member – During the month of January, the current Council votes internally to fill open spots from list of nominees. If elected by majority, each nominee is invited to become a member.
5. Members’ responsibilities - Council members are required to participate to the Council discussions, meetings (usually internet calls) and votes.
6. A Secretary is appointed from the list of active members and is responsible for administrative tasks including keeping track of votes, sending invitations to new members, organizing meetings and data and redacting and sending the annual report to the Disorient Council.
