by Jason McHugh and Jason Silverio

The two Jasons have been designing their own yearly Disorient posters for years by remixing late 20th century designs by McHugh's dad. Some of those posters are printed as Banners to be displayed in camp.

"So @JmacSplash presented his idea to me back in the heady days of 2005, in NYC, that he always wanted to do an show of his parents body of work from their poster art shop, East Totem West, but make art jam mash-ups with Burning Man and Disorient Glam Tech stylings.

Each year Jmac would give me his poetic descriptions and spirit animals to inspire and gide it along, as well as starting points to use from the East Totem collection. We have done images most every year, some more successful than others, some years done early enough to make posters for camp and friends.

Also, early in the project we were gearing the designs for use in LED light boxes that Jmac was working with. I worked in translucent layers that would only be visible under certain light settings (2012 being one of the better ones)"
