Solpix is a modular lighting system for Geodesic Temple.
Each Solpix is a wireless stand-alone light, an individual pixel.
Solpixes communicate with each other wirelessly to create a unified presentation.
The purpose of Solpix is to eliminate the (power and data) wiring needed to light Geodesic Temple using solar power and wireless communication.

Black: solar panel (top and 4 sides)
Yellow: SMD
Red: Batteries, charge controller, electronics, etc.
Grey: base (metal or other sturdy material)

Dimensions: Since Solpix is designed to be connected to a 2x4 stud (actual dimensions 1.5 in. x 3.5 in.), at least one of its dimension should be less than 3.5 in. (i.e. 3 in.). In this version, Solpix is square but it could also be rectangular (3 in. x 5 in. for example). The thickness of Solpix is also up for discussion.
Installation: Solpix can be secured to a 2x4 wooden stud with zip ties running on both sides of the base or with velcro attached under the base. The modular design of Solpix allows for flexible Geodesic Temple light layout. There could be one or several Solpixes on one or both sides of each 2x4.
