In 2022 the Club House is the central meeting space for Disorient campers and their guests; a playful loungy atmosphere with many shaded seating options, downtempo music and a stage for Disorient Talks, Camp Meetings, dining and other get-togethers. A chill area during the day and a warm meeting place for pre/post playa adventures at night.
Design and Planning
CH22 is a pallet-rack-based pentarchitecture dripping with pornj fabric that flows in the wind. It conjures the post-post vibe of a Pornj day-after, whimsical, sexy and decadent. It gets more accomplished and develops an aura as the week evolves and playa patina settles in.
Light levels of CH19 were right on. CH22 shouldn't be too bright at night. A few vertical spotlights on the outside of the pentagon and some punctual smaller lights inside including lots of LED tea lights turn it into the perfect endroit to chill pre/post playa adventures. A soothing space for our campers and their guests.
