	Desire for a Disorient theater was born from the [[Disorient_presents:_Country_Club_V\|2015 Disorient Country Club]] installation Liberace Karaoke and Piano Bar that was shown at CC 2015 and [[Events_2010-2019#Disorient_presents:_GLAMTECH_2015\|Glamtech 2015]]. We believed using a semi enclosed Dome paired with pallet racking would be interesting bones from which to build a theater. 			===Teatro di Sorient===
			Welcome to Teatro di Sorient, house of Pornj. Luxuriate in our plush shaded opera boxes and cheer for your friends as they serenade the esplanade during the Liberace Piano and Karaoke Bar hour. Hit the floor and run your own pockets to compete in the Disorient Western Division World Championship Dice Games. Rest your weary feet in our foam beds and watch the sun rise or set above the playa. In the heat of the day, enjoy a frozen minty towel, while resting in shaded cabanas in the center of the action, no spectators, only lounging protagonists and players.<BR>


			===The Structure===

			Our theater is 3 level C-shaped semi circle built from pallet rack. The structure offers an immersive plush experience where the 4th wall is completely exploded. Music, dance, spoken word and free form play are all encouraged with some scheduled and mostly open format interactions.<BR>


			===The Opera Boxes===

			The “Opera boxes” provide elevated views of the playa, rest, shade and comfort. Each box has it's own bedding and curtain that can be closed or opened depending on the needs of the occupant. As in the original tradition of opera boxes, the hotbed of passion and intrigue is always in the chambers themselves. Matthew has suggested we find an easy LED solution to having each opera box illuminated with individualized interactive colored lights.<BR>


			===Dome===

			Dome features a shared sound system with Teatro di Sorient. The dome is home to our yoga series, ReOrient as well as the Disorient built Zero G chairs. The unique shape makes one feel weightless, allowing for a special spinal relaxation unique to the Zero G model. These chairs are a perfect place for listening to our DJs or attending one of our yet to be scheduled lectures.<BR>

This section removes the ability to distinguish color. It is as close as one can get to being in a black and white film in real life.
